Gilles Guerrier de Dumast

Co-Founder and Chairman

Founder of FrontCap Asia, Gilles joined Crédit Agricole CIB (one of the top 10 largest banking groups worldwide) as Deputy General Manager. In this capacity, he was responsible for all Banking, Investment Banking and Corporate Finance operations in the Bank’s 57 countries and 22 French regions (allocation and management of Credit, Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets and Derivatives, Global Loan Syndication, Global Credit Analysis and Islamic Banking).

Gilles was Special Advisor to the French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry. He spent 18 years in London as head of Corporate Finance France with Deutsche Bank and as a member of the European Management Committee. Gilles was also Head of Credit Suisse First Boston France and member of the bank’s Global Executive Board in New York; and head of the European Strategic Derivatives Group at Bankers Trust. Gilles started his career with JP Morgan in Paris and New York.

Gilles advises large European Groups for their Asian-based strategies, in particular Amundi, the largest non-American asset manager with over €1.5 trillion under management. Gilles also serves on the Boards of Directors of Amundi in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. Gilles served on the Boards of Directors of Didier Philippe SA (Stockbroker); Bankers Trust (France) SA; Labeyrie SA (world’s largest producer of foie gras and smoked salmon); Prost Grand Prix SA (Formula 1 Team); Prost Design SA (JV between Prost Grand Prix, LVMH (Moet-Hennessy-Louis Vuitton) and Yahoo! Inc.); Crédit Agricole CIB Rusbank (Russia); Amundi Group; Crédit Agricole CIB Saudi Fransi (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia); and CLSA (Number one stock broker and research firm in Asia).

After 7 years in Asia, Gilles relocated to France, in his hometown, Nancy of which he is Ambassador.

He is Senior Advisor of Amundi Group CEO, and advisory boards founder and member of Amundi North Asia and Amundi South Asia, he is also a Director of Amundi Hong Kong, Amundi Singapore and Amundi Thailand.

Gilles holds a Master in Finance from Sciences Po Paris.

Albert Momdjian

Senoir Advisor

Albert is also Founder and CEO of Sokotra Capital, which he established in 2014 after spending almost three years with UBS AG as the Head of its UHNW and Corporate Advisory Group businesses for the Middle East & Africa region. During his time with UBS, Albert reported to the Head of Global Emerging Markets Wealth Management in Zurich and was responsible for a team of over 55 professionals across Zurich, Geneva and Dubai

Prior to joining UBS, Albert worked in Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (formerly CALYON) from 2006 to 2011 as head of its Middle East & Africa investment banking business. Albert was also responsible for the bank’s Middle East and Africa coverage activity from 2010 onwards.

Previously he was Head of Corporate and Investment Banking Coverage for the MENA region at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”) in London; Founder of Beyrut Financial Advisors, a Mediterranean Basin Corporate Finance and Advisory boutique; Director of investment banking coverage for the MENA at Merrill Lynch (including M&A, Equity and Equity Linked origination); and Head of developing research capabilities on the MENA region at Barings Bank and HSBC Securities.

Albert carries a wealth of knowledge and experience of the MEA region. He enjoys extensive relationships at all levels with regional government officials, CEOs and CFOs and has advised clients into and out of the region on several landmark transactions.

In addition, Albert served as an advisor to the Cairo Stock Exchange and a member of the Committee assisting them on strategic initiatives and helped set up HSBC’s brokerage operations in Egypt, the first such entity owned by a foreign investor.

Albert holds a Master in International Finance, with Honors from the University of Paris Dauphine (France).

Pierre Jaffre

Senior Advisor

Pierre started his career at the International Directorate of Ministry of Defense as US/Canada/UN staff officer before becoming Deputy Director “Asia – America – Africa”, and later posted to the French Embassy in Bangkok as Ministry of Defense Regional AttacheĢ for South East Asia.

In 2001, he joined Airbus Group as Managing Director of the Malaysian Office and four years later was appointed President Asia Pacific. He developed Airbus footprint in every ASPAC country and engaged the Group 3I (Integration, Internationalization, Innovation) policy in the Region.

He also launched an ambitious Talents Programs aimed at detecting Asian talents and growing them in the Group. Pierre became Director / Chairman of Airbus subsidiaries throughout the region: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia/NZ, Korea, Japan, China & India.

Pierre is Chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce and Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur (Advisor to the French Government for International Trade) since 2003.

Cecilia Barradas

Associate and General Secretary

Cecilia Barradas is an investment analyst and project manager at FrontCap Asia Ltd. and Frontiers Capital SAS.

Mexican born, Cecilia holds a Double Masters degree in International Economic Development and Economic History from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics and bachelor’s degree in International Relations.

Cecilia worked previously at the Mexican Embassy in Brussels in the Economics Department, at the Ministry of Economic Development of the State of Veracruz-Mexico as an adviser to the Minister, and at the World Heritage Centre-UNESCO in Paris.

At Frontiers Capital, she has been involved in investment projects in Mongolia and Tanzania and is currently working on research and analysis of projects in the North and South-East Asia regions.
